Silvia Vaca, MD

Dr. Silvia Vaca is a neurosurgery resident at Stanford Health Care. Originally from Colombia, she is a bilingual physician who provides language-concordant care to her English and Spanish speaking patients. She is involved in global neurosurgery efforts, particularly focused on increasing neurosurgical capacity in Latin America.

Michael Yan

Michael is an undergraduate at the University of California, Berkeley studying Molecular and Cellular Biology. As an aspiring clinician-educator, his professional interests include leading medical curriculum development, providing didactic mentorship to limited English proficiency (LEP) students, and conducting translational research within a teaching hospital.
